This wiki site has been created to provide further information on the diversity of fungi in the state of Utah.
Many of these collections were made by students as part of a Mycology course (BIOL 5425) taught in the Department of Biology at the University of Utah.
Habitats
Utah encompasses an enormous range of habitats, including desert, riparian, pinyon-juniper scrub, foothill oak scrub, aspen-montane, conifer-dominated subalpine and alpine ecosystems.
